POST & PACKAGING
Delivery is calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order, and is based on Royal Mail Special delivery prices. The average postage cost is between £6-£9.
All orders are carefully despatched in protective packaging and sent by courier on a next day delivery basis. Some postcodes may take an extra day. A signature is required upon receipt. GEMSTONES
The majority of our range contains genuine gemstones or minerals, except those described as 'Style'. These items are extremely good quality and most of our customers can't differentiate them from the real thing apart from, of course, the price!
QUALITY
All jewellery carries the 925 stamp of quality.
Our jewellery undergoes a 100% quality inspection both upon receipt from our suppliers and before your order is despatched.
925 STERLING SILVER
Sterling silver is a precious metal and contains 92.5% silver.
92.5% is the legal standard of purity set by the Assay offices in Britain and used for most silver jewellery all over the world.
Pure silver jewellery is too soft to be practical, so to strengthen the silver and make it durable to wear as jewellery, it is often alloyed with small amounts of copper(7.5%).
The 925 mark denotes the piece is made from sterling silver.
BRITANNIA SILVER
Britannia silver is an alloy of silver containing 95.84% silver, with the balance usually copper. Most of our photoframes are Britannia Silver and hallmarked accordingly.
HALLMARKING
By purchasing goods on a trade basis from our website, the buyer acknowledges that it is their responsibility to hallmark any qualifying silver items before retailing within the UK.
Individual silver items weighing less than 7.78 grams do not require a UK hallmark.
